AWM 1015, MTW and TEW: flexible, soft-drawn copper conductors with PVC insulation for control panels, machine tools, appliances and internal equipment wiring. Houston, Texas stock, cut and packaged for panel shops and OEMs.
All three are flexible, Class K-style conductors insulated with PVC, rated 600V, and all three end up inside panels and equipment. What separates them is the standard they are built to, the temperature rating and where the end product has to be accepted. If your build is a control panel that must follow SIS-type thermoset insulation, see our SIS switchboard wire.

UL 758 · 600V · 105°C · 20–10 AWG
UL ListedAWM Style 1015 is a Class K flexible soft-drawn copper conductor, tinned or untinned, with extruded flame-retardant PVC insulation. Rated 600V and 105°C, it is UL 758-compliant as Appliance Wiring Material (AWM) Style 1015 — the most widely specified AWM conductor for internal wiring of appliances, HVAC equipment and listed industrial machinery.
The high operating temperature (105°C) and Class K stranding make AWM 1015 ideal for applications where both heat resistance and flexibility are required in the same conductor. Tinned copper version available for soldering applications.
